How to Use & When to Apply:

Apply Rose Rx when foliage is dry and weather is mild and calm. Since Rose Rx is made from a natural extract of neem oil, it is not the most “heavy hitting” chemical on the market, although it is still effective in the right circumstances. It is best used as a preventative before problems arise or just as you begin seeing issues. It does not fare as well with advanced diseases later in the season or with stronger insects such as Japanese beetles. (The label does include them, but we find stronger chemicals are advisable.)

Handles foliar diseases well, such as powdery mildew, black spot, and leaf spot, especially when they are at their beginning stages. Easier to kill insects such as aphids, whiteflies, and scale are also controlled very well. Although it is branded for roses, it works well on all ornamental plants and even vegetables.

For proper pest management, respray Rose Rx every 7 to 14 days for maximum effectiveness. Rain and watering will wash the chemical off of the leaves which will make the plant vulnerable to attack. Good practice is to pick 3 days per month to schedule sprays during the growing season and mark them down in a calendar.
